Diving into Cutting-Edge PFAS Research in Coastal Watersheds

We are seeking a postdoctoral fellow to join Li’s group at the University of Delaware to investigate the source, transport, fate, and toxicity of PFAS in coastal watersheds, including salt marshes. The project, funded by USGS, offers a blend of thrilling fieldwork and hands-on lab experience, with the chance to enhance your computational skills. The postdoc will work with a dynamic team with the PI, a PhD student, and enthusiastic undergraduates. This position is available immediately.

Who are we looking for?

  • PFAS Research: Prior experience is required.

  • Background in Environmental Chemistry or Geochemistry: Preferred for this role.

Graduate student

Explore the Impacts of PFAS on Shellfish & Coastal Communities

Bivalves are a vital part of the diet for many coastal communities, and contaminants like PFAS pose a significant threat to human health through seafood consumption. Join Dr. Li’s group at the University of Delaware and dive into critical research on the bioaccumulation and ecotoxicity of PFAS in shellfish. The project is funded by USDA and involves field investigation and laboratory and field experiments on bivalve shellfish. This position is available immediately.

Who are we looking for?

  • Prior experience in environmental science, ecotoxicology, or equivalent education is highly preferred.

  • We are seeking a PhD student, but qualified students for MSc programs are also encouraged to apply.
